What we do:
Although the assembly can be customized, the core message revolves around depression and suicide prevention. Studies have shown that magnifying subjects like suicide, depression and bullying can actually INCREASE these problems, but StudentReach has very carefully crafted a message that addresses these subjects without dramatizing them.
Workshop:
We bring in 50 students from the school, 10 educators and we have 4 speakers. They tell the students about peer intervention.
Jeff Devoll, executive director of StudentReach, is an international speaker, trainer, facilitator and mentor to students and leaders.
